On July 20, a Royal Flight Boeing 767 landed at Sheremetyevo Airport with 216 people evacuated from seven countries (among whom, in addition to Russians, there were 5 citizens of Ukraine and 3 of Kazakhstan). In addition to the passengers, two dogs flew to Moscow along with the owners, one of which, due to its weight and dimensions, flew in a luggage compartment adapted for transportation.

The composite flight en route Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) - Monrovia (Liberia) - Accra (Ghana) - Yaounde (Cameroon) - Entebbe (Uganda) - Nairobi (Kenya) - Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) - Amman ( Jordan) - Moscow and took a total of almost 100 hours.

This flight was unique and one of the most difficult among all the outbound flights carried out by Russian airlines since March this year. It received the informal name "African Ring".

Since July 17, Royal Flight has flown over 6 African countries and Jordan to pick up all waiting passengers. In addition to such a difficult route, the peculiarity of this flight was that planes from the Russian Federation had never arrived in some African destination cities before.

To perform the flight with the unique route and duration, reinforced crews were involved, which included a total of 40 people.

To maintain sanitary and epidemiological measures during the flight, the flight attendants worked in protective masks, gloves, used disinfectants and monitored the condition of the passengers.

The special flight was organized with the participation of the Federal Air Transport Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian embassies in the countries from which the evacuation of citizens was carried out, as well as the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Let us remind you that earlier the Royal Flight airline performed evacuation flights from Nepal, Myanmar, India, Morocco, South Africa, Mauritius, Tanzania, and the United Arab Emirates.
